World War II has many factors that lead up to it, so I just went through and found the most interesting ones and put them on this PowerPoint. The first slide of information is the war debt before and after the war, while the next two slides tell the casualty rates from each country. The next slide gives a basic timeline followed by the list of major powers that was in the war. The next three slides show each major power’s leaders, while the last tells of the treaty of Versailles. This PowerPoint should give some insight on what we are going to be learning the next two weeks. PowerPoint number two basically shows some propaganda posters used during World War II, each comes with a basic description of what it is trying to tell the person who was looking at it at the time it was printed. This will help the students come to understand how propaganda works, how propaganda is created, and how it affects the people who look at it. This PowerPoint is included because I want to show how propaganda played a big part during the war, as well as propaganda played out then and how propaganda is used today.
