Second Life Scavenger Hunt

Second Life is a weird place to visit over the internet and very hard to get used to. I can't believe that a place like this exist, let alone an institution like Marshall to have a place on Second Life. One problem is that some people have to much time on their hands if they can create a place like this (just kidding). I could not even believe that people are making money by creating things and buildings in this ARTIFICIAL world. To me I can not believe that people are using their money on this. I could not even believe that colleges and Universities are getting into this and putting some of their courses on Second Life. It's kind of like getting up and going to class on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday class and actually listen to a professor speak, you write your notes, go home, and study for your exams, but you are in a virtual classroom on campus. The only thing that gets me is that there really is no difference in what you learn from a place like this, compared to an actual classroom. Marshall is probably only doing this because they know they can make money from it, which doesn't suprise me much, but I wonder how much it is going to cost us the students to attend places such as this and how much profit would it provide.
